How do you clear guttering?

By gutter vacuum from ground level where access allows, or by hand from ladders where it does not. Downpipes and outlets are checked and flushed, and the debris is bagged and removed.

Do you show me the gutters afterwards?

Yes — we take photographs from the pole camera or from ladder height so you can see the inside of the run rather than take our word for it.

Can you fix a leaking joint or a sagging run?

Accepted Answer

We repair leaking joints, replace failed unions and brackets, correct falls on sagging runs and refit or replace complete systems in uPVC, so a leak does not have to mean a new roofline.

Why does my gutter overflow even after cleaning?

Usually a fall that runs the wrong way, an undersized or blocked outlet, or a joint that has dropped. That is a repair issue rather than a cleaning one, and we will tell you which it is.

How often should gutters be cleared?

Annually for most houses, and twice a year where there are overhanging trees — late autumn once the leaves are down is the single most useful visit.

We can, and they help on leafy plots, though they still need checking periodically. We are honest about where they are worth the money and where they are not.
