We recently travelled across Sussex to assist a homeowner whose property was showing significant signs of organic growth and weathering. A careful approach to the tiles

Controlled washing and treatment

Once the surface was clear of heavy debris, we moved on to a controlled wash. We use professional-grade equipment that allows us to dial down the pressure, ensuring we achieve a deep clean without damaging the delicate surface of the tile or stripping away the protective granular layer. We then applied a specialist biocide treatment. This professional chemical solution is essential because it seeps into the porous surface of the tile to kill off any remaining microscopic spores, ensuring the lichen and algae do not simply grow back a few months later.

The finished result

The difference was immediately visible, with the roof returning to its original character and the whole property looking noticeably brighter.
